i'm new
Hi everyone I'm Liz (yes a girl, don't know how often that happens) I currently own a 2005 Civic LX Special Edition.. its my everyday car nothing special. But soon I am getting something from a project most likely a Del Sol.. which I plan on swapping either a b16a2 or a k20.. depending on what kind of money I come up with. I also plan on painting it pink. Look forward to posting here.

Welcome to the site Liz! You'll have fun modding your car. Definitely start with suspension mods and the best advice is to get in the habit of doing it all yourself. Start small, build knowledge and confidence and you'll be good to go in no time. 
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

hopefully I will have the car in the next 2 months(i blow money on expensive clothes, i'm typical). And yes suspension mods is one of the top things on my list. I am looking at eibach springs, sportline kit (I get a good deal on them though my Dads tire store) but I would love to have Skunk 2 fully adjustable springs. I'll keep you updated.. any recommendations?
oh and on the "dibs" i'm taken sorry! but don't worry he drives a 1995 Civic with an LS swap!

So what are your actual plans with the car? I mean, why upgrade the suspension if its just a daily driver? Unless, you're taking it to race at a track, or want to take corners at 90mph, which I wouldn't do with a new swap in the car, there's not much of a point to buying suspension (just yet...)....(eventually...)....

The 05 is the daily driver. I am getting a Del sol for a project.. thats what we are talking about.

welcome to HT, i hope you know what you're getting into if you decide to go with a k20, lots of money and time. i dont know if you're planning to boost or not but i say just go with a gsr or type r motor
