Default GSR Intake Manifolds

So I've narrowed it down to the AEBS or the Blox due to pricing. Never really cared for the Skunk2 to begin with anyhow. However, aestetically, I do not like the AEBS... but if it's performance will destroy the Blox... I'd buy it.

And even after searching through some topics regarding the differences... I still don't understand what bad about any of them regarding the GSR quench or lining up, etc... Could someone please clear these issues up.

I've heard H-T member RedZone say that he tested all three and the Blox lines up... but yet everyone says the Skunk2 and Blox are darn near identical. So how can the Blox line up and the Skunk2 not in relation to the GSR head?

Hook me up with some good info. Thanks in advance.

With my skunk2 i.m., Im about to install it on my 00 gsr in my 97 coupe. I took off the stock manifold already just to test the fitment of the skunk and it was fine. I dont know if you know or not, you also need some other things to install an aftermarket i.m. on a gsr. I needed an itr throttle cable and an itr throttle cable bracket to get it to work right. I got an FPR and guage too by recommendation, but I was told it wasnt really a necessity. I dont know if you need to do these things with the aebs or blox, but im happy with my skunk2 and I hope it pays off. good luck with your decision

i have the AEBS on my 99 gsr in my 97 hatch. it lined up perfectly and i didnt need to do anything but get some vacume line to extend some of the lines. i love it. its louder than the stock one sounds great. but i would recoment getting ur car tuned after instalation because there are no secondary butterflys so your air/fuel is off from idle to 6000rpms then still off a little after that because these aftermarket IM flow much better. the Aebs and the Blox were both designed after the skunk2 BTW

Can't do the mod as of now due to time and finances. Damn being a full-time student. But this coming summer hopefully. Any other input.
