Should I get a Koyo Racing Radiator or 98 Tailights?
Alright, I got some carbon fiber tailights and currently my current Radiator isn't cutting it. Its a Modine all aluminum radiator but isn't cooling my engine good enough, my temp is almost halfway.
I am planning to go turbo in the future, so should i rid my carbon fiber tailights, and upgrade to some 98 taillights, or should i get a koyo radiator?

My current all aluminum Modine radiator is actually a oem replacement, looks OEM but its all aluminum. Its all black also.
Maybe i'll just get both. And go turbo later.

I'm pretty sure thats where the gauge should be if I'm understanding you correctly. thats where the normal temp range is. you shouldn't worry unless the gauge goes past the halfway mark. I highly doubt the radiator you have isn't cutting it. your thermostat is keeping the temp regulated. If your overheating, then put in a new termostat. and if you are still overheating which I doubt you would be if your cooling system is working properly, then try a colder thermostat. but for street use you shouldn't need a colder thermostat. it would be much cheaper to change thermostats then buying a new radiator. you don't need a new radiator unless your is leaking or plugged. Even the stock radiator will cool great for the street. I had a stock radiator when my thermostat used to stick in the open position and my temp wouldn't go past cold when I would drive around. my car would never warm up. which is not a good thing.
If you had a track only car then you might want a colder thermostat and better radiator. But you already have an all aluminum radiator, so theres not much to upgrade there.
But again, it sounds like your temp is where its supposed to be.

when your doing this comparison, I assume your talking about when your driving down the highway and you look down at your gauge. with the added airflow of the wind blowing through the radiator, you could possibly be seeing the cooling difference in the 2 radiators. so its possible that the showa radiator cooled better. But if thats the case, then I don't think your thermostat is working properly. It could be hanging up sometimes and not closing when the temp goes down. The ecu can comtrol the temp by turning the fan on and off, but when you driving down the highway, its like the fans are always on.
Unless your temp is going past halfway or you just want a new radiator, I don't see a reason to take out the one you have. But if you do want a new better radiator, I recomend the PWR radiator. The tanks a very thick and strong and they look great and have a good price. I got mine for a little over $300

if your thermostat is good, your temp is okay. halfway is normal, and its good. Dont spend a lotta money on a new radiator, get the taillights, this coming from an Italian (we know aestetics).

i would get taillights. the needle is supposed to be just under halfway at normal temps, so it sounds like it is where it is supposed to be.

well...my radiator has 2 crack and its overheating....soo....i'm pretty sure you don't want to be in the same situation like me. Get yourself a functioning and working car
I don't think there's anything wrong with your radiator. If it is indeed an OEM replacement, and the endtanks are aluminum, they should be even better than OEM. OEM itself can hold massive amounts of power.
There is, however, something wrong with your taillights.

, get the tails. Hell, get any year!
