window rolls up funny
89 crx dx.
The window rols down fine, but when you roll it up is starts to go crooked a little bit. It will go in correctly if you guide it with your hands, but if not it will sit crooked and be open a tiny bit.
I was wondering what part malfunctions and causes this issue? need to know what part to get from the dealer

this happened to me recently. the tab that is glued onto the bottom of the glass (with the bolt hole in it) came off. alittle window-weld set everything right again.
alittle silicone spray in the window track also helps alot for smooth operation.

if everything is correctly bolted down and it still does it, it could be the regulator itself. after going up and down a gajillion times they develop play in the bearings and in the bearing track itself, (within the reg, not the guide in the door frame) you can adjust to counter act it to a point and crimp the track to reduce play but ultimatley a reg with less miles on it will cure the problem.

My PS side did the same thing - was the plastic clip on the window. Got some window glue from a window place (stuff they use) and it ended up coming off after about 2 months. A big pissed about it and have taken my door apart enough - so I just instruct my passengers to not touch a damn thing.
i had this problem when i first bought my car. the passenger window was crooked when being cranked up.
i opend it and found that the plastic bushings that act like bearings are broken so it has hella play. and it would de-rail.
i just did a ghetto fix with it, drill a new bolt hole and move the link so it straightens out.
OR buy a new window regulator or used at junk yard.
