gsr gears into an ls tranny??

gsr gears into an ls tranny??
i wanted to change in gsr gears into my ls tranny. i wanted to change out 2nd,3rd, and 4th. my question is do i need to change out just the mainshaft gears or both mainshaft and countershaft gears. Or can i just change out the countershaft gears? .. any help? and i did do a search. thanks in advance.
