what times are expected from a b16 in a 91 hatch at stock wieght, dx model. i got a motor on the way from hmotorsonline.com im just curious what i might run with just the stock motor. really i want to know if its possible to run 13s with the stock bottom end. no f/i or nitrous.

 

Weight, tires, and driver are all big undetermined factors in your question. That is why nothing beats actually going to the track.

my buddy in his si crx w/bolt ons and lsd went 15s, and with turbo setup same car went 14s

i would guess on a good day w/slicks will go 14s high

 

Depends on what mods you allow. Stock exhaust I couldn't get much more than a 14.8 with a cold-air intake. With an exhaust I got a 14.6. With weight reduction I got 14.4. With JDM GSR cams it went 14.3. On slicks it went 13.87. This is all at sea level. I'd expect a 14.6 to 14.8 or so with a completely bone-stock engine and bone-stock DX accoutrements on slicks. A B16 really needs to breathe to move.
