Default stuck throttle, help???

i haver a 98 accord ,v6 v-tec automatic and the when you start it ti revs to 2500 rpm by itself abd then goes up and down like your stepping on the peddle and then when you put it into gear it idles way high the whole timew you drive? my girlfriend has a 98 civic lx and it does the same thing, i cant believe i have two hondas and both do the same thing, is this bad luck or what? no recent maintenence to cause this and ive never done any mods to either of the cars? any ideas, thanks

you have a vaccum leak. check all of your vaccum lines and there you will find the problem.

hondas are bad with the uneven idle

idk about the accord cuz i have no experience with the v-6 vtec but the civics problem is most probaly the IACV. take the IACV off and clean the screen and she should idle good
