Default Restoring of the REX in Mexico!! With PICZ

Hi,...

im in the process of restoring the rex...
its gettin a Full Paint job, in a yellow or red color.. im still thinking

its actually R-72P Color, Torino Red Pearl, 90 DX
its gonna get all the paint removed by hand :D

then do all the body work and then paint .. :D:D::D:D

My plans are getting the seats reupholstered..
Nardi steering wheel with NRG quick release
ZC 1.8T swap
4pt. Roll Bar Custom Made

i have one problem, i can get the OEM bumper covers for an eye or the Replicas for a nice price.. any1 here can vouch on replica bumpers?...

What do you guys think

Looking good!

Are you stripping that paint with chemicals? Or just sanding it all down?

Just curious to why you are going through all the trouble of removing the paint?

mm..
first..
1its gonna be a real nice paint job so

2the car is actually repainted over the original paint.. so.. the paint is really thick and that is bad for paint.. if i repaint all over the old paint it will crack soon or later..

3 to do all the bodywork really good

Tuve la fortuna de comprarlo ya legalizado hace 2 años D::D::D

el que lo legalizo se las vio negras.. pero lo pudo legalizar finalmente

I had the luck of buying it already imported two years ago..

the one that imported it went throught a lot of things.. but, it finally made it..

Oh no, my poor torino red pearl is dying. Viva mexico though, too many damn vw bugs running around there, needs a nice crx or two (at least in the north). Good luck.

Looks like a lot of work. I know of a CRX enthusiast that lives in Mexicali. The CRX is pretty common in la frontera but I don't know about Manzanillo.
