Default Swapped CRX 1/4 mile times

Every search I tried resulted in not a single thread, so I'm creating this one so y'all can flame me for being a shitty searcher and finding 30 threads for me.

Just kidding. I'm trying to decide what motor I want to put into my project CRX. I've contemplated H22 but I don't think it's worth the hassle. Don't even mention K-series, I don't have the $ for that. Right now I'm trying to decide between GSR, LS, ITR, and B16. The car is going to eventually turn into a daily driver once it's near completion, so I plan on keeping things like power steering, A/C etc. I'd like to break into 12s and still maintain daily driveable reliability (I realize this is all part of the tuning, and I have one of the best Honda tuners around to use, so that's out of the question really). So basically I'd like 1/4 mile times with the setups listed above in CRXs ONLY! <READ!

Thanks,
Taylor

The best bang ofr the buck will be either B16 or LS. Both are pretty quick for the money, my buddy with I/E on his LS with a B17 cable tranny ran a 14.7 with a broke motor mount. I know I'm gonna get flamed for saying this, but the gsr swap isn't worth the couple extra thousand for 20 more horsepower, just my opinion. BTW in a CRX/EF you won't be able to keep powersteering because they never came with it. The A/C you can keep you just need to get the bracket that hasport makes, I'm sure other companies make the bracket too.

Hahaha, oops. I didn't mean P/S, lol. I haven't had a 4th gen for a couple of years and have been working on DSMs in the meantime, my bad.

It is possible to turbo an LS motor and keep A/C? I'll need a slimmer fan right?

easy way to hit 12 in a CRX would be the GSR swap. Do the bolt-ons and you should have no problem as long as you can drive. Want to make it easier, turbo the gsr. My B16 powerd CRX hit 13.7 with just a header. A/C in a turbo'd LS ain't gonna happen. actully you can turbo just about any B-series swapped CRX and you should hit 12's
