Default what valvetrain should i use w/ skunk 2 stage 2's???

here is my setup... i have a 94 obd1 gsr motor stock bottom end w/ CTR pistons. My compression ratio is 12.5.1! I have a stock gsr head now but this is what im gonna put into in within the next 2 months for sure. Im getting some Skunk 2 stage 2 cams, aem cam gears, 390 injectors, arp headstuds, titanium retainers bbbuuttt i wanna know what vavlesprings i should use? could i get away w/ some new oem typeR valvesprings (that are dual valvesprings) and get away with it? also what about valves i was going to use with are TypeR also...
i know i need a good set of aftermarket vavlesprings and valves but my "college" income permits me otherwise! my question is that im not looking to go past 9,000 rpm's! Would stage 2 cams, typeR valvesprings, titanium retainers, typeR valves, and 390 injectors w/ my high compression be a nice RELIABLE or will i just be an idiot by putting those cams in w/ that valvetrain setup????

sorry if your confused and any reply is always welcome, THANKS

i dont think you can rev to 9k on itr springs as the itr redline isnt 9k......search for valvesprings in the all motor forum and see what others are using

first things first get ridd of those aem can gears. they suck. try golden eagle cam gears. as far as valve train, go with skunk i use them for the past 5 years and they haven't failed me yet. as a matter of fact i have some for sale. i'll pm you.

DO NOT USE THE ITR VALVES!! There stems are too weak to be good and reliable, 8,500 is redline with those valves for reliability. I wish I still had mine sitting around I would show you pictures. If money is your concern go with some GSR valves or Si valves, I have a set of both sitting around I will basically give away. They have thicker stems and will stand up better and last longer. You can use the ITR valves if you really want, but I switched my valves out because I have heard of a lot of problems with people trying to use those valves when reving above 8,500.

Good luck, hope this was some help
