Default about to do an LS-Vtec...what misc parts to make it reliable?

i have a 91 LS (obd-0) and doing an XSi b16 head on it. the head is already obd-0 so i don't need the dizzy.

i need to know:

1. will i need a vtec ecu?
2. will i need head studs (trying to get some anyway because i HAVE researched but nothing came up when i tried to look to see if the middle head studs will still work.)
3. where can i get the lsvtec kit (oil lines and such)

1. Your making it a vtec engine, of course you need a computer that has vtec!
2. You dont need studs like ARP but since the motors apart, why not? Youll have them for later on.
3.I would search, theres gotta be plenty of topics on this one.

but since i HAVE RESEARCHED people have said that revving at a higher rpm with an ls vtec can cause the head studs to break. i don't want this to happen since it is my everyday driver. i'm not sure if the middle head studs will line up because someone told me that the middle ones on an ls are either shorter or longer i can't remember. he said i would need 2 b16 head studs for the middle and b18 head studs for the other ones. can anyone object to this? what head studs do i need?

You need the headstuds made for a GSR. That is what I am running on my LS/VTEC. If you plan on revving past the stock redline I would recommend some ARP rod bolts as well.
