vtec solenoid from 96-00 work on 92-95?

Default vtec solenoid from 96-00 work on 92-95?

I was just wondering if a vtec soldenoid for a d16y8 will work on the z6, I tryed taking one off my y8 and putting it on my z6.. the bolts dont seem to line up. maybe I'm just not trying hard enough

Goddamn bad info. No it wont. I did a thread about this. The 92-95 solenoids have a different bolt pattern than the 96-00 civics. You can either use another one from your year or a B series one.

Cali, if you dont know then dont say ****!
