I have an MSD Blaster SS coil PN8207 for my lude. Its not installed yet. I was gonna wait and install it with an MSD SCI ignition. Which one would you guys go with the PN 6320 or the PN 6350 teamed with that coil? What kind of gains should I expect ?
No gains, just slightly smoother acceleration....and if you have a tranparent dist. cap, you can see 4 sparks instead of one each time it fires.

when i had my msd digital 6 on, i felt better throttle response and some power gains within vtec and between gear shifts. I also used a blaster ss coil. I'm thinking about putting it back in my car. Make sure you run copper spark plugs and not iridiums or platinum.
it's just a msd coil, it dont really matter. people have used all of them on their honda's. i had a blaster ss coil but sold it to get a crane ps92 coil. And damn this crane coil is like twice the weight of the msd coil. hopefully that will help solve my misfire problems.

It's because the way the iridiums and platinums are designed, they are referred to as "trick spark plugs," by MSD techies. When i had them in with my digital 6, 99% of the time, the car would start up fine, however the other times it would fail to start. It turns out the copper ones (according to MSD tech) creates a more reliable spark. I'm thinking about putting my ignition back in w/ the copper plugs, but i forgot which wires go to which slot on the stock coil harness.

Are u sure it wasn't just the crap msd ignition?

hahahaha. my money is on the ignition being crap and they just fixed/replaced it and told you nothing was wrong with it. alot of guys run iridium plugs on there turbo setup with upgraded ignitions and don't have any of the problems you had. But alot of guys with msd ignitions have had the problems u had..... hmmmm

Mmmmhmmmm, I had a MSD and it just f'ing died on the road one day. I had iridiums at the same time and I still run them just fine.

copper is the best conductor. Check out your chemistry valency tables.
Why use anything else apart from copper. However when using copper plugs they need to be changed more frequently that the iridium or platinum plugs.
