I am looking to buy a header for my jdm b16 in my ej8. The manifold is an oem manifold, the downpipe (from manifold to cat) is an integra ls downpipe. I had my piping extended a bit to bolt up to the ls downpipe because it was too short. Which header do i buy...an integra ls header...im thinking that will be the right length, will that bolt up to my b16 block...also, whats the difference between an ls and gsr header? im assuming its the length of the pipe.

what r u considering the downpipe? the second piece of the stock header? i dunno. i think you're still a little confused.

yep downpipe is the second piece of the stock header going to the cat.

 

we'll lets try this for a start...do all b series headers bolt up to all b series motors? ex. will an ls header bolt up to a b16

 

um....most do. I have a b16 and I got a real ITR header and it works perfect with my 2.5" piping. I suggest go with the ITR header !!!

 

yes they all have the same bolt pattern, the bottom piece of a gsr header is not the same, i actually think it is shorter in length because the ls has an o2 sensor bung on the header and 1 on the cat while the gsr has 2 sensors on the cat.
