Short answer: Any engine/tranny for 88+ Civics/CRXs is a giant PITA to swap into an 84-87 Civic/CRX, meaning you will need to make your own custom mounts, get custom axles, lots of wiring, etc. The only GOOD swaps for them are a D16A1 drivetrain from a USDM 86-89 teg or a brown/olive top ZC or EARLY black top ZC with the engine mount on the exhaust side of the block. NOTE: if the engine mount sticks out of the timing belt end of the block then it is a royal PITA just like all the other 88+ drive trains.
p.s. since you're in VA, if you decide not to get it please pm or email me with details and I'll spread the word around to those who might be interested.

Alright will check out site when internet works(I'm in iraq internet don't work at night vrey well due to to many people being on). Ok but yea i got a 91 hatch and i got body kit on it so i want to trash that and start over. I found the 86 crx with zc in it from they say a 92 crx and it got a tegg tranny. So the swaps there but this is probably a different zc then what im already building so i guess it won't work. And i dont think my tubular manifold will fit because it looks so tight up to the radiator already. But hey if you find a good crx down there in nc 88-91 hollar at me. And i'll get back to you if i decide to go with this 86 crx.
