$@#$% INDIVIA TEST PIPE DONT FIT!
alright a month ago I bought a indivia test pipe from race inspired. it was suppose to be for a 95gsr. it came but I never had time to put it on. I asked the guy if I would need to extend the o2 wires and he said no its a straight bolt on
so anyways today went to the mechanic, got the cat off and yup the o2 hole is on the wrong side. extended the wires tried to put it on and **** didnt fit!!! the flanges dont match up, its like I gotta spin one end of the test pipe like from 12 oclock to 2 oclock. and i must have rotated the pipe like 10 times and there was no way that **** would fit
now.. what I want to know is what I should do. first I was thinking cut the pipe and weld it together correctly but then the whole point I even spent so much on a "brand name" test pipe was so it could bolt on with no problems. I dont want to spend extra money fixing it. I'm pretty shure I'm going to send it back to them and either get a refund or credit towards an omni test pipe(adjustable length wise and you can turn it). but,
1)who should pay for the return shipping?
2)if I get a refund, am I entitled to 100% of what I paid or minus the original shipping cost?
3)how should I resolve this? I dont want to be an ******* but I dont want to get played either. I spent 67.11 on this, tax and shipping included. plus I paid my mechanic $30 bucks for labor in which nothing really got done plus I was an hour late to class
by the way I haveny talk to race inspired yet just getting advice so this is not a complaint as of now just asking for advice. oh yea the box does say 94-00 integra dc2 though so I dont know wtf is wrong.. my exhaust components are stock

I say you should have contacted them before you made this post. If they are really loyal to their customers, they would have no trouble covering the cost of shipment for you to send it back to them

yes i did read this entire post...and my advice was to contact them...why spend more money to modify your test pipe, when you were informed that it would fit.

im not spending more money to modify my pipe I said that I DIDNT want to do that. I AM calling them when they come back from vacation, I just wanted to know how these situations are usually handled so I know what type of solution to expect because I dont want to EXPECT TOO MUCH AND BE AN ******* CUSTOMER. whatever I'll just call them when they come back and hopefully it will be a positive solution
oh yea I'm on two accounts because trial can only post 5 msg per 24 hours
