EX-R??
well 2day i went 2 the dealer 2 purchase sum DOHC VTEC stickers for my friends SI when we came across a EX-R emblem... ive never heard of it in my life.....anyone know what this is? where its from and what specs it has?
but y did it show EX-R when we were looking thru the 99-00 si model for parts...so im guessing there was a civic ex-r....there were many emblems dx, ex, ex-r, si, si-r all in the civic

Yeah it was probably misplaced in there or something canadas civics don't have an ex-r I don't know about mexico though I saw ex-r accords everywhere though. and most dealerships are idiots anyway so who knows...

yes- same engine breaks etc.. had the lip treatment as well as some different 16 inch stock honda civic rims , and some other junk suprised me but still laughed cause it was single cam
Your wrong the EX-R badge does exist from Honda. If you look on the screen that you saw that badge when you try to click on the EX-R, SIR and other non US badges it will say you are in the wrong region and that they are for Canadian dealers only. I've know about this since 99 when I had my 99 coupe. This screen has all of the different badges for all coupe models 99-00/ but some are Canadian.

Perhaps there is an EX-R, but there are also Civic EX-A, Accord EX-L, etc. etc.
They have to more to do with trim packages such as leather, ABS, etc. - I've personally never seen a badge that labeled the car as such in the years I've worked in Honda/Acura shops since 1995.
In any event, real or not, the badges are hellified retarded for any US-spec Civic IMO.
