5G Accord (if not also 6G/7G)

USDM Accord LX is their EX
USDM Accord EX is their EX-R

SOHC VS SOHC VTEC.

Your wrong the EX-R badge does exist from Honda. If you look on the screen that you saw that badge when you try to click on the EX-R, SIR and other non US badges it will say you are in the wrong region and that they are for Canadian dealers only. I've know about this since 99 when I had my 99 coupe. This screen has all of the different badges for all coupe models 99-00/ but some are Canadian.

Perhaps there is an EX-R, but there are also Civic EX-A, Accord EX-L, etc. etc.

They have to more to do with trim packages such as leather, ABS, etc. - I've personally never seen a badge that labeled the car as such in the years I've worked in Honda/Acura shops since 1995.

In any event, real or not, the badges are hellified retarded for any US-spec Civic IMO.
