When i had power locks put on my car my buddies kept breaking my lock **** for the passenger side. Then that part at the junks is always chipped or broken somwhere and at the dealer costs $40.

anyways to finally get power locks to work/fit nicely on my driver side it took a little bending of the poles. Goodluck.

Ive been an installer for 11 years . apparently the guy installing your actuators is a ******* idiot. I ve put plenty of actuators in civics, and del sols, and NEVER had a problem. once the door is shut the lock system works like normal, you dont have to pull out the handle to lock it unless the door is open. I had actuators in my eg6 for 3 years until I installed factory locks and windows from an ex, never a problem. I have even installed door lock actuators in civic coupes, hatches, and sols for trunk releases( for security, and keyless systems) and never had one come back , including mine. anyway Id find someone more qualified to install them if I were you or just get factory lock actuators, they attach to you existing door latch with three screws and will wire up to the wires you have for actuators now. hope this helps.
