Default Need advice on dremeling a shroud for my HID retro.

I know this is not welding related but I thought that maybe since it fabrication related I could get some help here.
HIDPlanet.com is down so I can't post on their chat forums

I'm trying to make the inside diameter of the escutcheon box just a hair bigger so it will fit around my HID projector. Its metal, chome plated so I don't want to *** up the chrome or ruin the perfect circle.

U will be able to see this part so I got to make sure I do this very carefully.

How do I make the daimeter slightly bigger without scratching up the chrome?

I though dremel but I don't think I can dremel it out without messing it up.

Not the exact pic but here it what I'm using.
