Were there any stock fog lights for the 88/89 front end CRX? JDM/EDM/USDM whatever...

 

There were either some for the JDM SI and/or the SIR.

The siR ones wont fit I don't think because the 80's front end doesn't have the fake air ducts.. I'll google for the si ones, if someone has pics, by all means post 'em!

 

they had 2 types for the si depends on location, if you remove your stock bumper there is a ------- of where to cut for foglights, there were the stock usdm foglights and there are cutout marks for edm bosch units as well

I have some pics here of the bosch ones...they were not only EDM they also were avail in the states....just so happen mine are forsale....taken from and 88 si

WHAT ABOUT THE FOG'S OFF OF AN LUDE 88 TO 92, I HELPED A FRIEND
PUT SOME BULBS ON THE ONE'S ON HIS LUDE AND THEY WERE VERY
YELLOW. JUST A THOUGHT!!

Will they fit the fake ducts on the HF front Bumper?

 

Yeah they'll fit they're all the same from the 90/91. Since I have an 89, my front bumper doesn't have any fake ducts, so I don't know where to cut. I would rather not cut at all. I was wondering what is that extra plastic on the sides of the grill for? Maybe I could custom mount something in there?

 

Eh I got some cheap knocks off from like autozone I think, they were 12 bucks and look fine to me.mine is an HF as well I had to take off the front bumper and cut out those little slots because they are not big enough for the fogs. not a lot of work.Hardest part was getting the bumper off.

 

nice....what brand were they...i need to take a look into some of these..

 

They were APC driving lights check either autozone or advance discount auto, and you should find em, I got mine on sale, they should cost like 20 bucks or so.,

Not too bad. I wish it would fill the little slot a little more though.

Nope they came like that. autozone only stocks the most jdm parts y0!
