Default Dashboard crack

Does anyone here know how to fix a dashboard crack. The crack is located near the defroster vent. I'm wondering if there is a way to minimize the crack or is my only option a new dashboard?

Thanks

Is it big? The space you're referring to is pretty small IIRC. Or is it just a little thing that will drive you nuts every time you sit in the car?

Its at least an inch long. and it starts from the very front to the vent. This think will probably drive me crazy because I will have to look at it everyday. I'm just wondering if there is a way minimize it or seal it with someting. Looking for a quick fix.

There is no fix for this, other than a new dashboard. A replacement dashboard (if you have a decent hookup at your local Acura Dealer) is $600. If you want the dealer to do the install, the cost will be somewhere between $600 -$800 (again, depending on your hookup).

If you have used Armor All on the defroster vent plastic; it will crack all the way through. There is no reversing this; if you have used Armor All on that area of the dash it WILL crack during the summer months. The defroster vent section appears to be a separate piece, but it is not. Therefore the only option is to replace the dash. Sorry to be the bearer of this bad news.
