Gsr swap help
Yes you can use stock motor mounts
Yes you can use LS axles/tranny, but I'd seriously think about ditching it to try to find a GSR/b16 tranny if I could, the tranny is half the reason the GSR is fun to drive.

I think you're going to be sorely disappointed with the motor alone, though. I'd think about picking up the GSR if you can get it for a good price, but waiting to put it in till you have the tranny.. otherwise you might just be left wondering why you dropped all that cash for a minimal difference.
If I were you though, I'd just save the money and instead of buying a GSR swap, boost it

It all depends on the tune, but you can safely get anywhere from 200-250 horsepower, or maybe even more if you have a good tuner, all on stock internals. That's at the wheels, by the way. How much does a stock GSR make, again? Like 140ish? Not even really a comparison.
As far as how much psi the motor can handle, thats dependant on what turbo you're running, but most people generally run between 7-12 psi stock.

I just put in Some Je pistons in my gsr they are a 12.5 comp. and also ported and polished the head. I got it dynod and it only came back with 162 horses to the wheel. should I have more than that or is that ok?
Is that all you have done? Just p&p and the pistons? Is it even tuned? It seems pretty crazy to mee to be running that kind of compression without a better built head and not being tuned.. actually I take it back. If you don't get it tuned, you're going to blow it up.
162 isn't bad if that's all thats done to it.. I guess I've just never seen anybody start with a stock motor other than 12.5 compression..

xdantex, i suggest you just keep your current stock ls motor for turbo. b16 will just be more money that you could be spending to turbo parts instead. if you have a '01 ls integra you shouldn't have too many miles or problems turboing the car.
