just letting you all know, i was at the pick your part in anaheim (on beach, not the one on katella) and saw a DOHC ZC engine (block and head and intake and exhaust manifold) in a white civic. distributor was gone (like on all engines), so is ecu, and the tranny was already removed. so its held up by only the driver side mount, which makes less work to remove quite frankly. the valvecover was off, and it rained recently. so i wouldnt consider this a great replacement motor, and by the fact its in a junkyard speaks for itself. but thought id let you know and i didnt spot any cracks in the block or anytihng. ive bought an engine on a 1/2 off sale before and walked out with it for $80, so expect to pay $150 full price (head and block only).

please dont IM me about any more details about it. i really dont have any more info, i just share this because this was the first DOHC ZC ive seen in the yard (although there are many SOHC ZC that make it in oddly enough). i dont know how much longer it will be there. theres another 1/2 sale over thanksgiving weekend, i certainly wouldnt wait til then...

btw, maybe its not clear, i didnt take the engine, im sharing this info for anyone else who wants it.
