Umm, how about next time your search first, then ask questions?
I don't even visit this forum very often, and I'm tired of seeing all the "s2000 or ________ (insert car here)?" threads.

I wouldn't turbo the S2000 in the first place because if you think reliablity and cost wise a supercharger is better suited for the S2000. Vortech or Comptech are both good superchargers for the S2000. They are more reliable and will last longer in life span than a turbocharger. Price wise, trying to get a turbo will be more expensive.

K-20 swap gets my vote. I have both...an S2000 and a K20 swap. I almost always opt to drive the DC over the AP1, unless I'm going somewhere where I have to worry about theft.
Otherwise, my NA k swap is ***** faster and more reliable than my S2000. The F20c has about 60k well maintained miles on the motor, the K has about 30k granny-driven miles on it and another 20k or so "beaten-on" miles by me.
The car is also more tossable and forgiving than the S2K. Also, if I ball up the DC, what's it going to cost me to get another shell and throw everything onto the new shell? Whereas if I ball up the S2K, I probably wouldn't want to build another one.
My S gets more head-turning, but the DC puts more smiles on my face, while giving others the
when they try to race and chase me. As for the head-turning, my wife drives a pimped out BMW 3 series, so when we go clubbin, to dinner, to a show, etc., it's the "panty-wetter" car I take.
The S just gets younger riceboys thongs moist...nothing more.
I do love the S2K and will never sell it...

Why is it everyone who says they're "getting an S2000" also asks about puting a turbo on it. Try driving a stock on in the rain before you go nuts with your parents money.
