Default p28 on a turbo gsr constant CEL

alright, got my car running last night, i had my p28 in it and it throws a constant CEL. i switched the ecu to a p72 and it runs fine. i also put my hondata s100r in the p28 and it idled really really rough and still threw a constant CEL. Could my ecu be bad? i dont know any other reasons>?

Is the P28 chipped or completely stock? if it is chipped what program was used to modify the chipped ECU? Hondata, Crome, etc. If the ECU is stock then it will definately throw a CEL. If you are running a chipped P28 then you would need to make sure the knock sensor is disabled since the P28 doesn;t support it and will throw a CEL. Also if you burn the chip wrong it will throw a CEL.

yeah, is that ecu chipped... and if so, what code are you throwing? sometimes i will get a random cel light on when im driving and it doesnt throw a code and the car still runs fine.. (probably jsut an uberdata glitch)

if you cant pull the code then theres a problem with the ecu ..its called a code 0

either bad ecu or bad program / bad soldering
