How do I get those DAMN side panels off?! 89 CRX
On my 89 CRX how do I remove these panels? I took out the door panels but still can not figure it out. I want to put them back on so I can't just tear them off like I'd like too.

#1 is not as important as #2 is. I am painting the car and just want it to look as good as possible. The rest of the car is STRIPPED! No lights, weather stripping, or anything. I just need to take these off before tomorrow so I can finish sanding it down and take it to get some fresh paint.

the upper one has clips that you can get from inside the car, the upper one on the fender you can get if you take the fender off.. just squeeze the clips from the inside with pliers and ease them out..
The bottom one I would have to look at it to remembers..
one place that you can find out is from
slhonda.com
look up those parts and find the diagrams... should be enough to figure it out..

not sure abbout the bottom part but i believe there are a couple screws on each side of the lower moulding....
btw are cars r twins
First, make sure the window is rolled up. Then you have to reach the clips from the inside, use a small screwdriver. You have to be very gentle with them, they break very easily. If you break them,I think they are around $3 a piece from honda.
So do it from the top? I tried getting at them with the door panel off but there were three I couldn't get to and the other three I couldn't get off with any pliers I had. From that pic it looks like I need a 3ft long flathead.
BTW-Our cars won't be twins for too much longer
