some negative camber will actually make your car handle better....
tire wear is more a cause of toe than camber...but yes it will wear them if it is extreme
if you have a pillowball...as do most reputable coilovers...there will be popping and slight rattling when you hit things...just cause its metal against metal instead of rubber to metal....
clarify for me...are these adjustable springs or real coilovers....

yes i have the same question w/ the camber kit. I am getting neuspeed racing springs that lower 2.25 in the front and 2.0 in the rear. What would be the cheapest kind of kit to get and would i need a full kit or only rear. This would be to save more tread on my tires.
T1R makes a fairly cheap rear kit.
Ingalls for the front is the cheapest.
I would only get the front camber bolts though. The rear wont wear nearly as quick as the front. Dont for get to rotate your tires -> save your tires for a while but will eventually wear down the inside.

Ummm I'm also pretty sure most reputable coilovers DON'T make funny noises when you hit bumps. If your pillowballs make noise when you hit bumps, that sounds like an issue to me. What coilovers that you using that bang around?
The ball should fit tight to the housing with no slop, there should be no movement besides circumferential movement of the steering bearing surface in the housing.
Having used both JIC and Tein camber plates, I've never heard a noise from either.
Anyways, nice and cheap are 2 words that don't match car stuff very well. If you want cheap, buy OBX or something. If you want nice, buy the Hotchkis arms.
SPC is in the middle, I don't recommend Ingalls, they like to sieze from rust very quickly.

they are jus the coilovers.....adjustable up to 4", and it seems like its too low but that cant be the problem......(i wish i had the money for full coilovers but its not going to happen with car payments) and being a freshman in college
i want cambers for the rear jus to save a bit of tread you know?.....i'll prolly rotate the tires 2mrw.....jus left front to left rear and same on right, correct?
thanks for the help, keep on coming with it

Well you're going to have to get an alignment. It does you no good just to install them. And be prepared to buy new shocks in about 2 months.

i guess that did sounds wrong...i shoudl reclarify...
i have Teins....my pillowballs...if you hit a bump ...more like massive potholes will make a very light pop...just from the tophats rebounding and hitting the metal of the car....
I have heard it from multiple Teins.....its not the actualy ball that i am describing...if the acutally ball makes that sound you need to relube.....

Camber wear is minimized if you have the TOE aligned to zero degrees. I had a set of tires go for nearly a year with almost no camber wear -- sold 'em when I went 5-lug.
Camber adjustments make your car handle differently, not necessarily "better". More camber in the rear holds the back end in place better, which can also be described as increasing understeer.
Anyway...
SPC has gotten the most recommendations that I've heard so far. Ingalls has come out with a new camber kit for the rear made of forged parts -- that looks interesting.
