Default front or back? obd2 sensor location on cat

Hey everyone, i'm goin to be buying a new high flow cat for my car and getting rid of the test pipe...
i'm getting a carsound from kteller... now heres the question:
I'm gonna need the o2 bung for the cat, on the site I can choose the front or back part on the cat... would anyone care to let me know where the location is on your obd2 cat? i don't wanna choose the wrong area and then
the wires wont reach..
i don't have my stock cat and i totally don't remember, and my sensor isn't in my test pipe since i didn't want to throw a code.
thanks all. hoping this thread is a quick one.

On my 97 LS I have one o2 in the header, one in the cat before the actual body of the cat, and one in the middle of the cat....Also how you said that the sensor is not in your cat cause you didnt want to throw a code..how did you manage not to since it belongs in the cat also? Did you switch to OBDI so you didnt need that extra o2?? Your statements pretty confusing..

nah .... no codes... i was told this by some type-r guys,
to not put it in the cat... what the secondary o2 sensor does is CHECK if the CAT WORKs.
since theres no exhaust fumes getting on the sensor it thinks it works fines there for no codes.

need an answer. please don't act like i'm stupid, just need some help.

Primary is on the front of the catalytic converter, secondary is on the back.
