Default internal tranny swap???

Is it possible to put the full internals of a hydro tranny into the casing of a cable tranny. You would think its possible correct. Ive searched and cant come up with anything. I jess blew my cable j1 tranny and want to put new gears from a hydro tranny.. POSSIBLE??? thanks for the input

you need a '92-93 cable casing and you can do what you mentioned.

you mean gsr/itr diff? yeah depending there is some shaving, but isn't a ls/b16 hydro diff the same size as the latter cable trannies or no?
