Default question on zc motor, tried serach "zc" but to short

i came across a 88 crx hf for 1500$
has a zc motor with crx si transmission
he didnt mention the motor set up to much
im hoping he used the pm6 ecu and has the zc manifolds and didnt just drop in the block and reused ecu/manifolds of the hf.

my question is this zc motor has to be the single cam 1.6 cuase if it was the dual a crx si trans couldnt fit right?

The stock crx si tranny does bolt up to the zc. So it can very well be the dohc

Hey I think thats cool your a smog tech. The ZCs came in both SOHC and DOHC. They both are considered D series and drop right into the CRXs. The SOHC is basically a D16a6 (stock CRX SI engine) but with a slightly more agressive cam. They are both great motors. check out.

http://www.thezcr.com is a great website for ZC information, I went ahead and found the page with all the information you should be looking for.
