I was originally planning to get GC Coilovers with Koni Yellows, but there is a group buy going on for KYB AGX's in my area. I can get all 4 for the equivalent of $302.97USD. Is this a good deal? would I be satisfied? From what I hear the Konis are the cream of the crop and the KYB's are very good for their price...would either one last 3 years and 60,000kms?

KYB's with GC's...I don't think you should do that. But it all depends on your needs. If you're not going to lower more than 1.5", then you should be fine with the KYB's.

As long as you don't go too low with a super-high spring rate, the Konis should last throughout the years.

 

I wouldn't go as far as to say the Konis are cream of the crop.I can certainly name 10 others that are better.However,they are great for the money.If you had your heart set on the yellows go to http://www.shox.com you will have to submit a form.They are very fast to respond and they are the absolute cheapest I have ever seen for konis.

 

I have KYB with GC and they work great. They have lifetime warranty too so if they go bad you can get a new one free.

 

Diablo Motorsport has Konis cheaper than Shox.com, $494 for a set of 4.

 

I just noticed your sig...I'd more than likely go for the H&R coilovers if the spring rates are nice.

 

I got the koni yellows, love every bit of them. I would reccomend them also.

 

I too have the Koni Yellows, but my only other shock I've had is OEM's. I can't complain what so ever about them though, and they do offer a lifetime warranty. But it all depends on your needs. If you plan on Auto-X'ing, people love the Koni/GC combo!

 

i've had my Koni yellows w/ eibach springs for about 3 years.. the konis work great got mine at shox.com also.. they price matched the lowest price i found and it was at my door in like 2 days (via UPS).... i like the konis a lot..

 

i just got the neuspeed koni yellows. ive herd nothing but great reviews about the yellows..if i were you id get them. i cant tell you how i like them yet, they're sitting in the boxes in my room waiting for all my other parts to come in the mail. god i cant wait...
