teain, mugen, or apex'i which one?
I know this question has been asked a million times but the search didnt really find exactly what I was looking for....
I am going to be purchasing coilovers really soon and I wanted a quick opinion on which I should get. I am looking at:
1) Tein HA
2) Mugen lowdown
3) Apex'i N1
These are going to be placed on with a jdm 23mm type r sway bar w/ beaks kit. Mugen rear upper strut bar, ITR front upper straut bar.
Thanks for your help guys!

My vote is none of the above...
I had Tein HA's on my prelude, and while I did like them ok, I wouldn't buy them again. It's seems like you're worrying too much about the name from your list.
Personally, I'd go with one of these, listed by how much you want to spend...
-Koni Yellows/Ground Control ~$850
-Progress Coilovers ~$1100+
-Advance Design shocks w/Eibach ERS springs ~$1900
If you do go with the Tein's, make sure you COMPLETELY coat the threads with anti-seize before assembling everything. I did, and had zero rust when I took them off about 14 months later. Others haven't and have seen them rust away.

Tein HA's for DC2 = $1100
I just bought a set of HA's, AND ITR rear LCA's for $1050

HAs tend to be more for street and not as aggressive spring rates. I'm not sure on their numbers, but if you look at their charts and reccomendations, the HAs are more for street vehicles.
Like JeffS said, don't read into a name. Koni/GC always takes care.

I have a set of Apexi 99 spec N1 on my EG. They are alright depending on what you want. The Apexi is more of a street/track combo so the ride will be better compared to the Tein HA or RA. My friend has a ITR with Tein RA and the ride is ROUGH!!! Man, don't eat before you ride in his car cause it's going to come out the wrong way!
For me, the Apexi are great, prertty good ride on the streets and crank up the dampening for the track.....it all depends on what you want.
