Default Need a new alternator

I am one of those guys that always likes to replace dying parts with new, not rebuilt, parts. If possible, I go OEM. Well, I need an alternator. No bigass stereo or anything. So which brand does everyone recommend?

Oh, and I checked online and the dealer sells reman, not new.

I'd buy from Honda even if it is Reman. I dont know. I am a big Honda Parts Lover even though they jack the prices up sky high!

Honda parts I can understand. But reman is still reman. I will see if maybe it was just that dealership.

i just put a carquest alternator on my car, and in 50 miles, the pulley fell off. it seems as though it will go back on with minimal stress, but ill have to wait and see when it stops raining here. just make sure you tighten the hell out of the pulley before you put it on. i thought they might have tightened it from the reman place, but apparently not.
