speedometer stop working

Default speedometer stop working

I have a 2000 civic si. After driving around for a while i shut my car off. when i started it back up the speedometer stopped working. What should i check.

first thing i'd do is see if there are cel's, or if vtec is working. if there are no cel's and vtec is working, you know its not your vss or ecu, and the ecu is getting a speed signal. so it'll probably be the speedo itself, or some wireing between the ecu and the speedo
