In my opinion 3" is too big for N/A. Invest in a high-flow cat and have a muffler shop run some 2.5" piping to a muffler of your choice.

I suggest Catco High-Flow Cat...I am currently running that and custom 2.5" catback and it's not ricey at all.

yea 3" is too big unless you have an extreme N/A setup but a high flow cat with 2.5" piping will work great

I have a 3" WS2 and piping with a carsound cat and 26" resonator on my turbo h22. I had to have my turbo rebuilt and put my stock header back on for a couple weeks, and it was embarrassingly loud. It was extremely raspy and I felt like the ultimate ricer, even after I made a silencer for it. I'm sure it would have been much worse without a cat.

With the turbo however, it's pretty quiet and extremely deep - no raspiness whatsoever. I would suggest a new exhaust if it's going to be N/A though, unless you like setting off car alarms and not being able to carry on a conversation without yelling
