R/C FF Drag Civic

I was wondering when somebody would take the older Tamiya FWD chassis and do this.
R/C is usually a direct reflection of what's happening in motorsports (save for 1/8th scale on-road)
That is cool, maybe I should build one?
One M FWD chassis and One Parma Neon Coupe Body... Hmmm

Awesome, I have been thinking about taking one of my extra 1/10th touring cars, and making it something similar, just for fun.. I was wondering when someone would do this, there are some guys local that are into RC drag racing, but they are running funny car and topfuel style cars, looks like its time to start a front wheel drive class
Tamiya M Chassis FWD cars run about $100-125 with a Miata, Mini Cooper Body, etc.
Parma just happens to be the only company that makes a Neon body and it fits the M series chassis.
The Honda JACCS Civic are going to be MUCH harder to find, but Im sure if you search on Ebay you can find one.
I could see some classes like FWD and AWD Electric and Gas, since these chassis are common.
Of course you could run a Pro Stock Chassis and put like a Lexus GS400 body on it or Honda NSX.

I know Bolink made a couple of RWD pan chassis

its so fun to play and build this thing. it has all the traction problems as a real civic. When i put this modified motor in it, it broke the axles. haha. it literally ripped the dogbone end apart. I put lighter rear springs and thinner oil just to watch the wheelie bars pre-load. The wheelie bar wheels are ball bearing guide rollers from those Japanese slot car things. Yea you could get a more expensive awd car that handles better, but tuning this thing is the fun of it. Thats why we all drive hondas and not wrx/evos.
