Does anyone know a shop where I could get my windows titnted at a managable price?

 

Check with your state inspection laws b4 you plink down your hard earned $$$ on a tint job. In the "John Denver State " they may get 'funky' about too heavy a tint.
I'd look for a SoundFX store, or a Boomer McLoud location near you.
I got quotes of 125.00 for a '97 Accord Coupe.

You can also try an on-line SuperPages search under Window tinting automotive, and it should cough out several sites.

damn 125 that is so cheap i got it for 185 i have a 4 door and it was a 3% visibility tint so that might have been a factor, it took like 8 ******* hours but it looks so good i am in the car can you see me?[IMG][/IMG]

AFAIK in Los Angeles, anything on the front is illegal and you can run limo tint in the rear windows and back window. 4" at the top of the front windsheild. Anything else is illegal. I remember a few years back in one of the Sport Compact Car magazines they had a layout of all 50 states and what was illegal/legal in terms of modifications from exhaust sound levels to window tint. Too bad I can't find it when I want/need it....

 

they are tenzo r 18s,with a 1 1/2'' deep dish i was told they were racing 18s... i know i know....... racers dont use bigger than 17s but thats what i was told,,,

and thanks i just blacked out the ring around my windows and i am going to re-paint the trim soon its sun bleached a little, i just need some painters paper.


the legal tint in oregon is at 35% in the front and as much as you want in the back i just went to the eye doc and he gave me a letter to show the cops when they ask, it was easy.
