Default DA Koni Yellow Rear Shocks?

I was wondering if anyone is running these in the rear...I would run the ef rear ones but a friend of mine has an extra set for his DA and can hook it up....I have DA tockico blues with my GC's right now and because the DA rear spring perch is 1 in higher on the shock body I had to lower my GC's 1 in to compensate and now the shocks(which r garbage anyways)bottom out easily. My question is the fact that the spring perch is adjustable on koni yellows going to make up for the fact the it regualry sits 1in higher on a DA shock? Also is the fact that the shock is valved for a car some 500lbs heavier than mine going to affect the ride/handling? Thanks

EG/DC are the way to go.

thanks tyson...however i believe because koni's have an adjustable lower spring perch it might be able to make up for the lower stock DA perch...i guess i will just have to put them on soon and check it out

no, that wouldnt help.

im not talking about the location of the spring perch.

the height of the shock itself is significantly taller. thats why youre bottoming out your suspension. youll be riding on your bumpstops much more than you would be with the right shocks, regardless of shock height.

if the koni shocks are shortened than normal, then youre fine. but i dont think so.

I tried stock DA stocks in mr civic they were much taller as for the diffference with the koni yellow spring perch it's not enough to get the difference you need i would buy some koni's for your make and model.
