im stuck
I am stuck on if i want to start this accord f22 turbo project. I was recently thinking about saving up and getting a eclispe gsx. Its turbo awd and has mad product support what do you guys think.
Get ready for the Mitsubishi Cylinder Head/gasket two-step, if you decide to make the move.
But, hey, If you like the car, go for it. Just buy a supplemental warranty on that bad boy when you do.

Ok, new here. Anyway, i used to have a Talon Tsi AWD before my accord and although I have not been around any turbo f22's, i think you would be more saticefied with a dsm. Very cheap to mod in comparison and tons of potential. If i were you, skip building up your accord, save it as a DD, and buy a 1g. Talons are usually cheaper btw. You probably won't be making the power to have to touch the bottom end so it's really just turbo, injectors, fuelpump, ic, and dsmlink and you will have a very fast car when tuned properly. Dsm's have way more issues than honda's, stock for stock, but if you are looking to build a 12 second car, a dsm reliablility doesn't suffer nearly as much. Atleast if F22 are similar to b16's when boosted. I'm sort of a newbie to accord motors but I have owned turbo cars for awhile now and i can't see you getting the power a dsm would on even close to a similar budget.
you really can't compare an accord and the gsx. i mean the gsx is factory turbo'd and awd so that would be your best bet if you wanted a fast car without throwing a ton of money at it. every car has potential... it's whether or not your wallet has potential. most people on this board turbo their accords because they want to. they may not make awesome amounts of power...but thats not the point. they do it because they want to. it's not something someone can really tell you what to do other than to do what you like
good luck man
(funny you said that because i was looking at a tsi
