was wondering, if theres anything i need to look out for.

i know of 4 recalls these models have. 2 of which are only for the 3.2 series. it has to do with the tranny and driver side seatbealt(s).

are there certain tests or things i can do once i take the car out for test drive? anything to ask? anything to check for other than the basics?

any help/comments would be helpful, thanks in advance!

 

i'd like to know as well...considering a 02-03 TL-S. good performance, nice interior, clean and subtle styling and insurance is pretty cheap.

 

also, can the navigation unit be used as a dvd player also? does it INCLUDE that feature or do you have to buy a separate unit to play dvds?

my understanding also with the gps unit is that you need a DVD cd to load the map and therefore use it as a navigation unit, is this true?

 

The navigation unit does not have the functionality to play DVD movies. The nav unit also requires the DVD disc for the maps also.

To play DVD movies on your navi screen, you will need a separate DVD player, a video splitter (to switch between navi/movie), and an audio connection from your dvd player to your sound system.
