itr vs. 06 mustang auto

would a new 06 mustang, not gt, automatic be fast enough to beat a type-r. i kinda want to shut somebody up at my school.

Race him and find out, as with all threads like this there's to many variables for anyone to tell you who will win. A good driver should beat most automatic cars in a manual though. Esp. with drag racing.
