when i drive my car the front hub makes a noise because i guess the wheel bearing is getting messed up. i have an 89 crx dx 5 speed. i was wondering if i could get the hub off of an 88 hf or which car i can get it off of. i went and bought a hub yesterday for an 89 crx but it didnt fit. the guy said that it was for an automatic. and that they were different. or is it possible to just change the wheel bearing and if so how much will it cost. thanks. BTW i tried to search but server was down.

 

Do not use an HF hub, your axles won't fit in it.

You can have the bearing pressed out and replaced but if you find a spare for cheap, that's what I'd do.
