Hi everyone,

Ok, I have a strange problem. When I start my car, my alarm system automatically locks the doors in a couple of seconds. Lately, I've noticed after starting my car, my ABS light remains on and my power door locks do not lock on it's own. After about 30 seconds or so, the door locks and my ABS light goes off. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Ok, thanks. But would he know what's going on with the ABS light? Because it happens at the same time.

 

maybe..i think so. actually i dont know.

to diagnose the ABS: if your car is obd2 try plugging in a obd2 reader or if your car is obd1 jump the 2 pin connector under the glove box and put your key to start position and read how many times the CEL blinks.

 

I honestly don't know what I have. I have a 1990 automatic GS. And I'm not a hands on kind of person. So, it looks like I'll have to take my car in because even the other forum have no clue and think it's a strange problem.
