Well late august i spun cylinder 3 bearing, mechanic said he micropolished it and rebalanced it well just about a week ago my dad was driving and knocking sound it spun again should the mechanic fix it again for doing a fucked up job the first time witha new crank for free or what action should i take. when i get back tot he states i was going to do a crower 2.2L stroker kit but my dad needs my car running while he is fixing his.

 

Thought YOU repaired that yourself, said something about using all yellow bearings, etc.

If he only micropolished the crank to fix it after a bearing had spun on you, than he is at fault. I've never seen a bearing spin on a honda and not expletive the crank up. Hell, i've seen bearings not spin, but get down thick into copper and expletive the crank up. I would get him to fix it. Although i have to give him (the mechanic) the benefit of the doubt that you misunderstood what all he did to the motor to fix it. If possible, get some money from that mechanic and take the motor to another machine shop to get a whole rebuild done.

On topic....if you rebuild your engine with that stroker kit are you going to use a different color from Honda to have tighter tolerences? Or are you going with an aftermarket bearing kit?

 

im going with aftermarket bearing kit, looks like my cars sitting under a tent for 3 months while i save up my money.
