Im wiring up my obd1 dizzy plugs on the obd0 wire harness. I've got the smaller plug done. On the larger plug, I've mated the yel/blu, white/blu, green/blu, orange, orange/blu. Now on the plug, I still have a yellow/green wire and a plain white wire. On the harness, I'm left with only 2 white wires. Anybody have any idea which goes where? I was under the assumption they were all color coded. TIA
thick white to yel/grn.. thats the ignitor wire. If you have a hasport ecu jumper, or a dizzy king (or aftermarket) dizzy the wiring will be incorrect...
This is the EXACT same question I ran into this afternoon!! LoL...

I did the same thing. I depinned the OBD0 dizzy plug wire by wire and matched the colors up with the same colors on the OBD1 dizzy plug.
Then I discovered that there are two white wires on the OBD0 plug, and one white wire on the OBD1 plug (and a yellow/green wire left over). I need to figure out if I just plug one of the white wires from the OBD0 plug into one of the white wires in the OBD1 plug and the other white OBD0 wire to the yellow/green wire.
And IF that is the case. Which OBD0 white wire to I hook to the OBD1 white wire, and which do I hook to the yellow/green??
I looked all over for a pinout for the OBD1 dizzy but couldn't find one. I also spent almost two hours searching through all of the DPFI to MPFI tutorials and couldn't find the answer to this question.
Bump for an answer!!!

So one of the white wires from the OBD0 plug is thicker than the other white wire?
And the thicker one goes with the OBD1 yellow/green? Then the thinner wire goes with the OBD1 white wire?

Yes, its the wire that all alone, pull back the tape, its the only wire not in the covering... Easy as that

Here's what he means, I took a picture of my wiring this evening.
This picture shows the loom peeled back a bit, you can see that one of the white wires is thicker than the other, and is outside the loom where the other dizzy wires are shielded.

That thicker white wire is the one that gets connected to the yellow/green wire.
Thanks for the help by the way!!
