Whats wrong with summit racing or jegs ? I know a guy local around here with a mandrel bender but he don't like a lot of customers coming in and just getting piping.

Go through summit, if you don't mind they sell the thicker aluminized steel bends (16 gauge). I believe they only charge an $8.00 handling fee.

i'm on the south side...we get LOTS of mandrel bends from JC whitney. LOTS.

we've made about 20 downpipes from it.. never had a break. they've been glowing hot and everything...

So cut the pipe on an angle so you can get the right bend.

what would u use to cut the pipe, im kinda limited to a hack, sawzall, table saw, and a grinder. I currently am runing a 2 inch downpipe that basically dumps and I need to get the three to route throught my exhaust cant let the car warm up in the winter when it sounds like a damn airplane needs to be mufffled.

I have a chop saw... but a hack saw will work... just need some patience. The Sawzall will work with the right blade. I would suggest getting an angle grinder w/ a cut off wheel aswell. I got mine from Harbor Freight for like 10 bucks on sale.

If you ever need work done I can vouch for 90black and redzcstandard. Only because I'm down @ school and can't help you out myself.

A sawzall would be better then a angle grinder with a cut off disc, because the circle would at least be even all away around.

I myself use my band saw. If you need a piece cut, feel free to stop buy.

Mark is the owner and he's cool as hell. They usually have some J and U bends in stock that are mandrel if you need them ASAP. I'd call first. They're in elk grove i think.
