Default LED Gauge Cluster and Center Console Question

I'm thinking about doing some led replacements for my friends center console and gauge clusters, and from the very small amount of information on it I've found I've got these two sites, but I dunno what to order. How many lights are in the console, and how many in the cluster? Can I just get the regular old leds from the first link or do I need to get a sized thing like 168 or 74 from the second? Also, should I get the directed ones or what? I think that's it, thanks a bunch, it is a 97 accord.

LEDautomotive, He's great to work with.
Email him and ask, he's very helpful.
You have the following locations where you could do an LED change over

1) Trans Shift Quadrant (auto)
2) Cigarette Lighter (type 74 bulb (specialty) (1)
3) GloveBox (1)
3) Hazard Warning Switch (1)
4) A-C/Heater Control Head (both Picto-gram & Amber Indicator) (PC Kit)
5) Rear Defogger Switch (both Picto-gram & Amber Indicator) (1 of each)
6) Cluster Dimmer Control (both Picto-gram & Amber Indicator) (1 of each)
7) Cruise Control / Sunroof Combo Switch (both Picto-gram & Amber Indicator) (1 of each)
8) Cluster Back Illumination
9) Door Clearence Lamp (1 1/4" Festoon Bulb)
10) Dome Lamp (1 1/2" Festoon Bulb)
11) Overhead Map Lights (1 1/4" Festoon Bulb)

He also includes How-to sections for the installations

Anyone got a solution that is not buying a kit but just blubs? Or some sort of diy?

You're not going to find any. ALL of the switch illumination change-overs use 3mm H-I LED's*. They DO NOT come with the mounting bases (It's an Insert/Twist/Add a Resistor and solder proceedure for just one bulb. It's all very fine work (read that "Small) and it entails also adding a resistor with each LED for the correct voltage. On top of that, LED's are Polarity critical.

I said "screw this", and had him do the whole thing. I sent him my switches, a/c control ect, and he did all the soldering, fitting and made sure everything was right.

*The only ones small enough to fit

Wow, that's crazy. I'll see if my friend'll wanna pay that much...my crx is so much simpler in that respect. I guess it just has less lights also.
