I ran 15's

The car itself is bone stock.... just skunk2 lowering springs

Engine:
8.8:1 weisco
factory b16 rods... shot peened
arp rod bolts and head studs
adjustable cam gears (skunk2)
act clutch and flywheel
hondata s200
manual boost controller
11psi on 101 octane

Thats it!

I didn't think I was going to run that fast... got kicked out for no helmet..haha

Now I know I can definately run 12's with a little better 60ft

Hmm... I ran my car two nights ago.. 13.5@106mph. 2.3 60' on street tires! (toyo proxes4)

97 ex full interior, no ac
stock b18a1. t3 60trim .63ex .60in, 8psi street tuned by Blundar on 93 octane
either my car is just a freak.. or something doesn't look right with those times.

I don't know how much power you are making, but I didn't expect that time with my car either. I don't see why the car shouldn't go in the low 13's with that mph if you got a set of radials and got a better 60ft..

Pretty much just a DRAG kit with some upgrades... I don't have any new pics of the engine bay, but here is an old one. The only thing different is I went with a manual boost controller and a new wastegate, and I switched to hondata so no more missing link!

I am going to run the car again next weekend.. Hopefully I can launch a little bit harder and get like a 1.8x 60ft.... and in the 12's

Do these numbers sound really good to you guys??? It almost sounds like I shouldn't have ran that number off this setup??

I have tried doing research and everyone says something different... Also I live in AZ where is fucn HOT!!

How much will stock sleeves hold?
How much will my shot peened rods hold? They are the 9mm bolts also

Pretty much, how much boost and power can I run on my setup??

Thanks

Nice times for what you have! Should be able to get 12.5 or so on slicks. Good luck!

I ran at 25psi... I didn't think you were supposed to run that low on radials...

Unless you meant if I got slicks then to run that pressure??

****, i run drag radials as low as 16-17psi, if not lower.

Stock sleeves can handle 600whp, as long as there is good tuning involved
