Will running my AC without the fan hurt anything?
you will not have the full effect of the ac then, w/o the condensor fan, you will not be cooling the car's cabin nearly as well. we did that to my friends type r and ended up taking it out all together.
as a hvac tech, it will be ok when moving, but when you slow down or stop, the compressor will trip out on high pressure, im sure it will work until the compressor craps out, which runing a head pressure of 450-500psi when u stop, the compressor wont last long. they sell manifolds that will work with a/c.
I probably wouldn't be using AC anytime soon since it's pretty cold around here now (40-50F). I'll probably look for a slimline fan if I really need AC.
If you are talking about removing the fan, you can...
You will need an aftermarket electric fan and mount it to the front of the condenser. Remember to make sure you have the polarity switched so the fan blows air through the condenser and not away from it.
That will give you a couple of extra inches to play with between the turbo and your condenser.

I also heard about people taking the stock fan and putting it on the front of the condensor and doing the same thing you're talking about. Would this get in the way of a small front mount?
