Help with installing mirrors with signal lights
Where should I connect the signal lights too???? Do I have to run them to the front of the car to the lights. Or can I connect them under the dash? If I can do it under the dash it would be easier, but how do I locate the wires.

I dont think he's kidding...but oh wells...the most simplified way is to just ghetto run the wire to the turn signal sockets....theres other ways..but way too much detail is involved...

Whats up! Call me a ricer??? Yeah right!!! Look, I am just wondering which way I should do it. Have them on all the time or just when I signal? The mirrors are the only riced thing I have on this car. I just need a mirror and the damn junk yard was telling me they wanted 80 bucks for one mirror and the dealer was telling me 100. I got these at an aftermarket shop and it was 99 for two. So it was the better deal. Ricer my ***. **** you! You guys may be fast, but I am no ricer. I have a 93 civic hatch with a jdm b16a sirII. If you read my posts or whatever you will see I am always asking questions about motor upgrades. Damn! I also have another question too. I just got some jdm 4-1 headers and I was wondering if i had to cover the entire wiring with special fabric or just near the part that connects to the cat... this is for the O2 sensor. If you think I am a ricer... F-U!!!

yeah people on here are really beginning to suck...just abunch of "rice" haters. Lame if you ask me. I dont know how to hook them up but my guess would be run a wire to the signals.

I think the only reason people hate rice is due to the negative image it portrays of the import drivers.
Many people take pride in their vehicles, and to waste 99$ on a set of APC or whatever mirrors instead of buying another one, is just being cheap.
You spend $$$$$ on your SIR II engine, but you can't break down and buy a mirror? This in itself shows anyone reading this that you don't seem to care about the look of your car.

Well, I am not a ricer!!!! I am going to just run the lines through the fender and to the front signal lights. I just hope I don't get a ticket.

hey man, bust out ur multi meter and go to the rear signal lamps on the car. flash a blinker and when the wire pulses 12 volts, then thats the wire u need to tap into for ur signal lamps. if u want it to look the way it is supposed to, this is the way to go. gotta use each wire on the left and right lamps. should help out i think. let me know how it goes.

I did it. It was much easier than I thought. Just ran the wires through the fenders and attached them to the signal light. I just had to figure which two of the three wires would make it flash. Once I did that, I hooked it up. Hopefully now it is cool. I just didn't want to get a ticket and I wanted to hook it up the easiest way. Thanks for those who tried and to those who called me a ricer, lets run. lol

man, I was just kidding. Didn't think I'd set off a flame war. You do what you want to your car. Whatever makes you happy.
